Product Information
The apparatus consists of a steel or carbon fibre cylinder with a combined cylinder valve and pressure reducer, a supply hose to the hood, and a carrying bag. The ELSA is activated by opening the bag, which automatically releases a pin attached to an activating strap.
The constant-flow hood features a cubic design with a large visor for peripheral vision, while an ori-nasal inner mask prevents misting and reduces carbon dioxide dead space. Flame-retardant PVC-coated material and an ozone-resistant elastomeric neck seal make the hood easy to don over spectacles, beards, or long hair.
The black antistatic polyurethane bag is suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
