FAQs
Which water filter removes the most contaminants?

Industrial water filters remove impurities from industrial and construction runoff, groundwater and stormwater. These impurities can range from sediment and particles to minerals, odors and more. Please contact United Rentals to find the right filtration system and size for your requirements. Need help choosing a water filter? Contact Fluid Solutions for more guidance.

What are the benefits of tank mixing?

Tank mixing saves labor as it mixes fluids faster than by hand and automatic models save even more by keeping containers full and at stable temperatures while unattended. Tank mixing is also more accurate than hand mixing and safer because workers have less contact with concentrates.

What is the difference between a water pump and a trash pump?

Also known as wastewater pumps, sewage pumps or sludge pumps, trash pumps are designed to transport liquids that contain hard and soft solids, such as leaves, twigs, pebbles, silt and mud. Most trash pumps are centrifugal pumps. Although water pumps move liquid at a higher pressure than trash pumps, water pumps often jam when used to move murky water or water that contains pebbles or other solids.
